Revelation 12 reveals to us Satan's plan of attack both personally and corporately. He cannot allow God's plan to go forward because he knows it will end in his destruction. Therefore he must stop the woman (Israel) from delivering her child (Jesus the Messiah). He failed so, his next line of defense is to stop the followers of Christ, but he is failing in this also. They are overcoming him by by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they love not their lives unto the death. His third line of defense is to stop God's promise to restore Israel back to the land, thus making God to be a liar. This results in a mighty war in heaven in which Satan is cast out of the heavens and down to earth. In rage he turns his full wrath of the true believers, those who hold the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Satan is not a gentleman and he does not go around dressed in a red suit holding a pitchfork. He is subtle and he is a deceiver. As he did with Eve so he does with us today; whispering doubts and accusations getting us to disobey God. He is like a snake, lying in hiding and waiting to strike. He is moving today with urgency because he knows his time is short. For this reason I write this article - to warn of the lurking danger.

Jesus taught that a house divided could not stand (Mark 3:24), yet, the church today finds itself in that position. A recent article highlighted this problem for me.

Catholic League spokeswoman Kiera McCaffrey says Hagee is a "larger problem" than Farrakhan because Farrakhan is "small potatoes and old news" compared to Hagee and his huge following. Let me see if I have this right: John Hagee professes belief in Jesus as Lord and Savior - Farrakhan does not; Hagee believes the Bible is the word of God - Farrakhan believes the Koran is; Hagee believes the Jews are God's chosen people - Farrakhan believes they are pigs; Hagee believes God is not finished with Israel and is making them a nation once again - Farrakhan wants to cast them all into the sea! I'm having a hard time seeing how Hagee is a "larger problem" for true Christians than Farrakhan is.

I personally know many fine Catholics who are Christians. Are they all Christians? I don't think so, and neither do many of the Catholics that I know. But, I could say the same thing about Baptists, Lutherans, Episcopalians, Pentecostals, etc. It takes more than belonging to a particular church to qualify for being a Christian. The key issue is whether Jesus is Lord in your life and whether you keep His word. He said "If you love me. keep My word." not "If you love Me, go to church!" We are living at a time in the United States when the true Church of Jesus Christ is languishing, needing a fresh vision of our purpose and calling in God. Not a time for partisan bickering and name calling.

This article highlights an issue that I believe the Holy Spirit is speaking plainly about in our day - Denominations are not of God! The very word means "to divide and name" but, Jesus prayed in John 17:21 that His followers, the ones God gave to Him, would be one even as He and the Father were one. 

I include in this problem all of the early confessions as well as the later denominations that have formed since the Reformation. There is only one "divide and name" process that God is going to do and that is the separation of the sheep from the goats (Matthew 25:32) when Jesus returns. (And it could be that this process is beginning now.)

How does one get into the "sheep" group? A few thoughts come to mind: 1) Know the truth, because that alone can set you free and Jesus said "My word is truth" - not church tradition but, My word. 2) Act and live as Jesus did. He said, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for Me." (Matthew 25:40). What is your attitude toward Jewish people? Jesus' attitude was to forgive them and to work for their salvation. 3) Work for the Jews to come into the true Church, not as Gentile "wild olive' branches but, as the "natural branch" grafted back in through faith in Jesus. After all, this is why Jesus died on the cross, to make "one new man" and break down the barrier between Jew and Gentile ( Ephesians 2:11-18). 4) Work for Gentiles to come into the true Church. As the 'age of the Gentiles' is drawing to a close, we should work all the more for as big a harvest as can be had. 5) Humble yourself and repent whenever "the truth" illuminates your sin. We all have sinned and continue to sin, because we are not perfected yet. But, if we are willing to bow to the sword of the Spirit, which is the illuminating, piercing, convicting word of God, God will finish in us the good work He began (Philippians 1:6).

There are many other points that could be made, finer points of truth that are necessary for healthy growth in the Lord, but, if we begin with these five, the Holy Spirit will direct our education to include what we need, when we need it. To all those, like the Catholic League, who feel they have to defend their position and their church, I would remind you of the words of our great leader - "I will build My church" - Jesus. Don't get all bent out of shape arguing whether Peter was the rock or whether Peter's confession was the rock, just know that Jesus is going to work it all out if we just follow Him. Meanwhile, the fields are white unto harvest and the Lord is looking for those who will go into the fields and harvest. Not for your church but, for His Church! There is only one true Church and it isn't Catholic, or Lutheran, or Baptist, or Pentecostal, or any other name men like to use to identify themselves - it is the Church that belongs to Jesus Christ and obeys what He says, all of it!

Since there is no 'separation of church and state' in the kingdom of God, He takes an equally dim view of those who try to separate their secular life from their spiritual life. Many today seem to think because an activity is political, or work related, they need not apply the same rules as they would toward their religious life. But, Scripture reveals clearly that we will be judged by the same standards for our secular endeavors as for our religious ones. Some political examples come easily to mind: (1) abortion, and those who support it are transgressing a fundamental rule of the kingdom of God - death of the innocent, (2) taxation for the sake of 'earmarks', which is just another form of stealing and no thief will enter the kingdom of heaven, and remember, God does not care whether you are Democrat, Republican, or Independent the same rule will apply. (3) Knowingly lying or breaking your word will also keep you out of the kingdom of Heaven. In fact, it is hard to understand how a modern politician playing by typical political standards will ever get into heaven! (4) Knowingly preferring the wicked who support abortion, homosexuality, or any other position that God opposes will earn you the same condemnation they get from God.

It is time to begin following the teaching of Jesus as revealed in the Holy Bible and not church dogma, which is often just the traditions of men or worldly philosophy, which is just Humanism in religious skin. The world tries to separate us into 'liberal' Christians or 'conservative' Christians but God only recognizes those born of 'blood birth' - in other words, by the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ. May you become one of them.

Building on a Firm Foundation

"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash."

When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, - Matthew 7:21-28

If Jesus were to teach this in today’s society, many would also be amazed! He clearly cuts through all the rhetoric that we are steadily presented with in the media and all the ‘smoke and mirrors’ we are given by politicians to get our votes. He simplified all the issues of life into one goal – entering the kingdom of heaven. This life is so brief, it is like a flower that blooms and then is cut down, like smoke that soon drifts away. He offered eternal life in the kingdom of heaven but, there were strict rules for entering.

If you are wise, you hear the words of Jesus and put them into practice in your life then you are like the man who built his house on the rock so it could withstand the tests and trials of life. But if you are foolish you don’t do what He says and you are like a man who built his house on sand. You chose poorly!

The Bible has another teaching that explains the difference between the wise and the fool – Ecclesiastes 10:2.

“The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left.”

Today, we say conservatives are on the right and liberals are on the left but by Jesus’ standards few of the conservatives are on the right and none of the liberals. You cannot support abortion in any way and call yourself a follower of Jesus. You will be like those in the parable Jesus told which say, “We talked the talk” but Jesus will say “You didn’t walk the walk!” You cannot hold others to standards you don’t hold to yourself but the Congress and Whitehouse extort high wages for meager health care and retirements for the citizens but exempt themselves from the same laws while taking exorbitant health care and retirement for themselves. Jesus said he who would be great should be the servant of all but that attitude is certainly not exhibited by Obama, whose wife has hundreds of personal servants who are paid large salaries with our money.

There was a time in our history when every action of Congress and government was held up to scrutiny by Scriptural standards by churches, but that day is past because their tax exempt status means more to them than truth. A large so-called Christian network, TBN, recently pulled a show off the air because it criticized those ministers who are promoting the false doctrine of Chrislam, a mixing of Christianity and Islam. Thankfully, Jack Van Impe left TBN and continues to speak out against this heresy that over 300 well known preachers have embraced.

Many big churches are supporting doctrines that oppose Jesus’ teachings and few speak out against the government doing things that are clearly against God’s Word. For example, when this government stands against God concerning His land of Israel thus bringing down God’s judgments on America, few churches or ministries are sounding forth the alarm of protest. Our nation is burning up with drought and wildfires while some parts are losing valuable cropland to floods as God tries to get our attention. This has been going on for the last three presidents. The hundreds of billions that were lost to storm, fire, drought, earthquake and tornado damages would have more than covered our present deficit crises. But the heart of the fool inclines to the left and 60% of the evangelical church voted in Obama and his left-wing agenda.

While it is sad to see a great nation go down like this we should resolve to be among those who will hear the words of Jesus and do them. Our house will be built on a firm foundation and will withstand the storms that are coming. If we set our will to do the will of our Father in heaven, we can be confident –

“. . .that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 1:6

THE RESULTS OF POLITICAL CORRECTNESS and A TREASONESS ATTITUDE

I just received this email from a friend and it needs to be sent around the country. It is time for those Americans who love their country to start praying for it! Because it is being stolen from us while we stand by and do nothing. While some valiant Americans in Arizona try to defend their state and America from this kind of attack - our government resists them, even taking them to court to stop them from enforcing enacted federal laws. President Obama even sided with the government of Mexico against Arizona, in court, when Arizona decided to enforce federally enacted laws against illegal immigrants. Senator John McCain and former governor Janet Napolitano do nothing for their state and even work against them. There was a time in America when such actions would have been the end of anyone's political career.


Here is another look at what is happening to this country - I guess I would have been hauled off to jail for trying to do something and shame on those people who stood around doing nothing - cops included!

The news will not show it and the Capitol Police and Homeland Security would not let Americans or any of the Veterans that were there do anything about it. My husband and his friends were threatened to be arrested and were told they would be booked under federal charges if they did anything.

I am sending this to you so that you in turn can start emailing it to everyone on your list. It is totally uncalled for and people need to see it. This is not about politics and rhetoric; it is about a direct threat to our country.

Those of you that don't live in Arizona will maybe get a chance to see the other side of what the news is telling you. If this offends you greatly, then I have truly accomplished what I set out to do. I understand that sometimes we don't see eye to eye on certain things, but that is the right our forefathers fought for.

I am an American. For those of you who choose to dismiss this: If you believe that this is okay I believe you are a traitor to this country and everything it stands for. I am not a racist and I am not a Nazi, this has nothing to do with race, it has to do with respect to the country that is continually taking you in and turning a blind eye to your agenda. Homeland Security was designed to identify and defend America from Terrorist acts yet yesterday it let illegal and legal citizens of this country desecrate the Flag. People were spitting on it, stomping on it and burning it with cigarettes. One soldier who had just returned from Iraq tried to grab the flag and was thrown to the ground by the Capitol Police and Homeland Security.

It amazes me how many people will stand against the American People while all the while prospering from our system and our government."

I just watched NBC News and President Obama honoring a war hero with the medal of honor. He lost his right hand and forearm in the action. Then to see these pictures of illegals and legals dishonoring the flag for which this man fought and many of his comrades gave their lives for makes me mad. The same government that honored this soldier also says these freeloaders have the right to light fires on the flag and spit on it. This needs to stop! Are there no patriots left in Washington DC to enact laws to stop this or impeach those Justices that say it is OK? Are my tax dollars going to support law enforcement to protect these people and not our flag?

 Granted, I'm just a retired teacher from another generation but I still remember when it was a proud thing to carry our flag and to honor it. I'm still proud to be an American and I don't like turning the other cheek when aliens repeatedly spit on me - and when they spit on my flag, they are spitting on me!

This is my land, all 40 acres of it. I bought it and I improved it. It is small by comparison to some, but it is the land God gave me. If someone came in and took part of it and gave it to someone else, I would protest in the strongest terms and with all the force I could muster. If there were no local government authority who would help me, I would defend it with a gun, which is my right. If no local authority would help me, I would appeal to a higher authority. After all, I hold the deed to it. The one who tried to take my land would be known as a thief!

Now this scenario is being played out on a grand scale before our very eyes! Muslim Arabs are trying to take land from the nation of Israel. Even though the Arabs own 100's of times more land than Israel, they want what Israel has. Israel bought the land when it was a waste and worked to improve it until it is productive; forested, fruitful, with even it's deserts blooming. What is more astounding - Israel has the title deed to the land and it is an everlasting title!

And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. - Genesis 17:7, 8

This title deed was passed on to Isaac, Jacob, and all their children. Now because of their sin and rebellion, God allowed them to be dispersed from the land as punishment but, He promised to bring them back - the everlasting covenant is still in effect! 

And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD. . . And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever. Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. - Ezekiel 37:14, 25, 26

Now that they are back in the land, outside forces are trying to steal it from them. They have appealed to the 'local authorities' the so-called Quartet (EU, USA, Russia and the UN) but they are proceeding to allow the land to be stolen. Like any landowner would do, Israel will fight and appeal to a higher authority. That 'higher authority' is God Almighty and He takes a dim view of dividing up the land He has given by an everlasting covenant! He will use Jerusalem to judge the nations who rebel against His word.

And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. - Zechariah 12:3

God is about to bring these nations down into the valley of judgment where He will argue with them - and He never loses an argument!

I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land. - Joel 3:2

The outcome of this argument is fixed, the nations cannot win, and in the process Israel will have her eyes opened and return to the LORD. All the nations of the so-called Quartet deserve the judgment they are going to get because of their persecution of the Jewish people in the past but, the USA is out of place. It has always been a friend to Israel and the Jews, even from our founding times. Why would the USA side with this Quartet, which by the way also hates the USA? The answer is that we have been deceived by Satan into electing an administration that is more Muslim than Christian. They are deceived and twice blind; blind to the physical harm that will come to us from Islamic terrorism if we give into them, and blind to the spiritual reality that God is real and He will judge those who try to divide the land of Israel or Jerusalem. He has done it before, and He doesn't change!

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey. - Ezekiel 36:5

We need to understand that the land of Israel isn't just Israel's land, God takes ownership of it and calls it 'My land". That is why the Jews were not sell the land, except for a short time.

The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me. - Leviticus 25:23

If you care for the United States and for yourself, pray earnestly that the Obama administration will reverse its stand and will bow to God's will. Pray that we will be the 'wings of a great eagle' that helps Israel in her time of need. 

And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. - Revelation 12:14

If we choose wrongly, God will still provide deliverance for Israel from another source but the United States will simply move from a nation blessed by God to a nation cursed by God. As God covenanted with Abraham -

Idaho sells out to Chinese

Idaho is to become the first Chinese owned state in America, but not the only one according to Bill Turner of the Boise Conservative Examiner. According to a recently brokered deal by President B. Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton which resulted in a Memorandum of Understanding concerning the establishment of the U.S.-China Governors Forum to Promote Sub-National Cooperation, signed by Sen. of State Hillary Clinton on January 19, 2011.


China will be allowed to purchase 50 square miles of resource rich Idaho land on which they would build  a self-contained city with all services included.  It would be modeled after the "special economic zones" that currently exist in China. They would be given special tax exemptions (which American firms do not get!) and they would be given the right to land at Utah airports without duty or inspection.

Obama is basically selling American sovereignty but then he has been doing that already by siding with Mexico in a law suit against Arizona. Governors of other states are also looking at settling their debts by selling out to China, an enemy that has in the past threatened to destroy us (see my blog NOT A TIME TO SLEEP).

The Harlot Rides Again

The Harlot of Revelation 17

The Harlot of Revelation represents the ‘false’ church. It has existed ever since Cain tried to appease God by his own liturgy. But like all the ‘birth pangs’ that Jesus warned about in Matthew 24, the false church is becoming stronger and more visible as we approach the end of the age. False churches are ‘marrying and giving in marriage’ so often that the holy covenant of marriage no longer means anything and approximately 50% of those living together don’t even bother with it anymore. The phrase ‘sanctity of life’ means little any more, even among Christians. God asks, “Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.” (Isaiah 49:15). But the abortion rate in the church is as great as in the world today. God calls homosexuality “a shameful” lifestyle (Romans 1:27), but many churches today not only condone it but they are even ordaining homosexual ministers. Many churches are trying to form an ecumenical ‘world church’ with an open door to all faiths and some in America have coined a new phrase – “Chrislam” which encourages Christians to join in worshipping the false god of Islam. This false church mentions God often but, it rarely uses the name of Jesus Christ or the Holy Spirit and never the true meaning of the Blood of Christ. While it may have many ‘programs’ there is little fellowship between believers, especially where the Holy Spirit is allowed to freely operate. It consists mostly of ‘professional’ religious leaders standing up front and the vast majority sitting passively in the audience, except for singing a few songs and giving of offerings.


If this describes your situation, I plead with you to learn the lesson of Jewish history. We owe Israel so much, the faithful preservation of the Word of God, the Prophets, and most of all – the Messiah but, they are also an example for us of things not to do.

“Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it, saying, "If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes.” – 

Luke 19:41, 42

How much suffering and misery could the Jews have saved themselves from if they would have just known ‘in this your day’ that their Messiah had come just exactly as Daniel had prophesied He would so many years before. 2000 years of Diaspora, homeless, outcasts in all the nations to which they were driven. Of course, not all disbelieved Jesus was the Messiah. There were the disciples who followed Him and by Pentecost even some of the Priests believed and followed Him. Also many others, Scribes and Pharisees and Sadducees, believed He was the Messiah but, they would not accept Him. When the Wise men came searching for Him some 33 years earlier, the priests and scholars knew exactly where He would be born. But they never chose to humble themselves and follow Him. And of course, many saw the miracles He did and heard His words of truth but just could not give up their ways to follow His way. They chose to follow the Priests who had Him crucified declaring to Pilate “His blood be upon us!” or perhaps they just didn’t want the stigma that comes from being ‘different’. Either way, they paid a terrible price for their rebellion.

I believe Jesus is also sad for America because it too ‘does not know in their day the things that make for peace!’ America has been so abundantly blessed and honored because of the foundational principles of our forefathers. The priests and scholars of America today only have to search the records to see how our Founders believed and wrote that we could only prosper if we believed in God Almighty and confessed Jesus Christ as Lord. Yet we see the name of Jesus Christ being publically despised (example: The VA refusing to let a Christian Pastor use the name of Jesus in his Memorial Day prayer), Almighty God’s 10 Commandments removed from public view, and so-called Houses of Worship shamelessly committing spiritual adultery and idolatry.  Churches in many places in the United States are now celebrating “Chrislam” which is a joining of Christian and Islamic faiths. Just recently, Rick Warren, founder and pastor of Saddleback Community Church in Orange County California, addressed the convention of the Islamic Society of North America. “Before we “shake your hand in responding to your letter, we ask forgiveness of the All-Merciful One and of the Muslim community around the world.” – Rick Warren in a speech to Muslims. Warren seems to be ignorant of the fact that Muslims don’t believe God has a Son and do not believe Jesus was ever crucified! Instead of worrying what the Muslims think, Warren and others of his ilk need to start worrying about what God thinks!

“Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, 'My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,'” – Isaiah 46:9, 10

Because of the prayer of Jesus on the cross, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” Israel had a hope. God would honor His promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and bring them back to the land of their promise. We have seen that happen in our lifetime. All who love the God of Abraham and His Son Jesus believe this and hope and pray for it, for they know that it makes the second coming of His Son just that much closer. But, Muslims do not believe that and do not wish it and for a Christian pastor to have fellowship with them and allow their prayers to go up in the Church of Jesus Christ is akin to King Ahab offering sacrifices to foreign gods in the Temple or Antiochus Epiphany sacrificing a pig in the Holy of Holies!


In America today, we have a President that is more Muslim in his beliefs than Christian. And he is against Israel and does as much as he can to weaken her. And to the shame of the American Jewish people, American Jews helped elect him and still support him with huge sums of money, even after they know his plans to eliminate the nation of Israel. Abramowitz, senior columnist for the Crystal Ball, recently wrote, “There is almost no chance that the ultimate victor in the Republican nomination contest will be able to significantly increase the GOP share of the Jewish vote beyond the relatively small minority of conservative Jews who have been voting for Republican candidates in recent years.”


We live in the days of prophesy being fulfilled. Jesus’ letters to the seven churches of Revelation is being completed before our eyes.

“Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews, and are not, but lie – indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.” – Revelation 3:9

Just substitute the word ‘false church’ for ‘synagogue of Satan’ and ‘believer’ for the word ‘Jews’ and you have today’s meaning of this verse. We are living in these days and I pray we will remain faithful and echo the prayer of Jesus – “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.”


Meanwhile, we need to heed the heavenly voice of Revelation 18 to the people of God in ‘Babylon’ – “Come out of her my people, lest you share in her sins, and you receive of her plagues.” The church of Jesus Christ is coming out and becoming what He meant it to be. You will not find it in Denominations, although there may be some in those denominations that are in it. But mostly, they are gathering in small fellowships, like home fellowships, where they can know each other intimately and be individually used by the Holy Spirit in His supernatural gifting. In spirit they will look like the first church more than the denominational structure of today. Its leadership will be in the form of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors (elders), and teachers but they will be ordained by the Holy Spirit, not some Bible School or denominational seminary.


I encourage you to be “baptized by the Holy Spirit” into such a body (1 Corinthians 12:13) and may God truly bless you in the days ahead.
